My Blog Spark Giveaway $35 Jiffy Lube Gift Card - closed-

Well it is that time again...time to get my oil changed. What a hassle. Finding time time to get my car scheduled for an appointment to do maintenance work. UGH. I hate to make appointments! But momma's got to get it done!

Well my lucky day as I got a gift card from MyBlogSpark to Jiffy Lube last week! What a great gift to arrive in the mail. I finally had time today to head up to my local Jiffy Lube.
*without an appointment*
Love It! As I can head up there whenever I want - well of course only during business hours!!
Little honey and I headed up there after preschool and we were in and out in about 20 minutes! Very easy.

With an informative website http://www.motoroilmatters.org/ (created by the maker of industry-leading brands Pennzoil and Quaker State) you can easily locate key information about how quality motor oils can help prolong your engine’s life and improve overall efficiency, as well as help answer other questions you may have about motor oil. In addition, the site offers a fun, educational game for you to play called “M.O.M. Knows Best” where you can put your motor mind to the test with an interactive quiz.
Did you know?
According to a recent survey from the Automotive Service Association, more than 54 percent of customers who take their vehicles for service and repair are women

Using a high-quality motor oil in the right grade can help maximize fuel economy

Low-quality oils that do not meet industry standards or the vehicle manufacturer’s requirements could cost consumers in the long run by potentially damaging the vehicle’s engine or possibly voiding the manufacturer’s warranty

Another reason to look to a high-quality motor oil – like Pennzoil and Quaker State - is that it is designed to meet the demands of today’s engines

So much to learn!

But on to the good news...

MyBlogSpark will provide you with a $35 Jiffy Lube gift card which will cover most of the cost, if not all, of a conventional oil change at most Jiffy Lube locations

I found that 'severe' driving means stop-and-go driving, frequent high-speed driving and short trips. Sounds like the way I drive!!

I learned that as your car ages the standard weight of your oil must change too. The older the car, the higher the number!

I found out that it's just as bad to over fill the oil as it is to under fill it.

I discovered that it is important to have your oil changed every three months.....see - Does it matter if I change my oil regularly?
•Regular oil changes are one of the most important things that can be done to help extend the life of an engine.

•Changing your oil will remove harmful contaminants and dirt that have been collected in the oil.
