20 Beautiful Children...

Just had to share this poem about the tragedy that happened on Friday. Prayers are with all involved in this situation.

Twas' 11 days before Christmas, around 9:38
when 20 beautiful children stormed through heaven's gate.
their smiles were contagious, their laughter filled the air.
they could hardly believe all the beauty they saw there.
they were filled with such joy, they didn't know what to say.
they remembered nothing of what had happened earlier that day.
"where are we?" asked a little girl, as quiet as a mouse.

"this is heaven." declared a small boy. "we're spending Christmas at God's house."
when what to their wondering eyes did appear,
but Jesus, their savior, the children gathered near.
He looked at them and smiled, and they smiled just the same.
then He opened His arms and He called them by name.
and in that moment was joy, that only heaven can bring
those children all flew into the arms of their King
and as they lingered in the warmth of His embrace,
one small girl turned and looked at Jesus' face.
and as if He could read all the questions she had
He gently whispered to her, "I'll take care of mom and dad."
then He looked down on earth, the world far below
He saw all of the hurt, the sorrow, and woe
then He closed His eyes and He outstretched His hand,
"Let My power and presence re-enter this land!"
"may this country be delivered from the hands of fools"
"I'm taking back my nation. I'm taking back my schools!"
then He and the children stood up without a sound.
"come now my children, let me show you around."
excitement filled the space, some skipped and some ran.
all displaying enthusiasm that only a small child can.
and i heard Him proclaim as He walked out of sight,
"in the midst of this darkness, I AM STILL THE LIGHT."

New workout for my bum bum... Brazil Butt Lift

So I started a new workout system. I have been wanting to try this for months! I tried it over the summer when I visited my sis and loved it!

Guess what - she gave it to me for my Birthday/Christmas present! Isn't she awesome ♥

So my hamstrings are killing me from the workout and I am only on day 3! Although today is much better. I know it is doing something if I can feel muscles ache that I haven't felt before!
Can't wait to see if I actually get lift back there or if I lose any inches.

If you like to try new workouts and really want to workout your bum bum then you should try this! You can buy it here - Brazil Butt Lift BASE Kit - Supermodels' Secret to a Perfect Butt Workout System

So have you tried it yet?

New Purex...

Love the new Purex plus Oxi I just used. Normally I use Free and Clear as my son and I are so sensitive to chemicals close to our body during the day. (think skivvies here!). But this new Purex smelled so good I had to try it on my clothes - I didn't want hubby to have all the fun! And guess what - no problems! I ahve been using this for a few weeks and both mine and my son's clothes and we have not had any issues! I am super excited about this!

Love the scent - fresh and a nice change! Have I told you I love to try new things? Super fun!

This is what the site says about it -
  • A hypoallergenic formula with a light, fresh scent
  • Perfect for everydat laundry or heavily soiled loads
  • To find out more visit Purex.com

Go try it out yourself and tell me what you think ♥

Purex provided me with a sample of Purex plus Oxi so I could review it. However, all of the opinions expressed here are my own.

I am now a Rugged Maniac!!

I conquered my fear and completed a 5k mud obstacle course. In 32 degrees I might add....

 FIRE! FIRE! FIRE!!

I can official say I am a Rugged Maniac!!!
Here is some of the ice cold water we went thru. I pulled my sleeves up to try and keep them dry so I could stay warm. It worked until I went down the slide...super wet there!

This is where I start to go underground. Yes I said that right we crawled about 20-25 feet underground. This is the only thing that hurt as it was NOT smooth terrain under there. My knees were so sore and bruised. Still over a week later dark purple bruises. But I'm tough!

Loved doing this! I conquered my fears! Now I am ready to do another one! Warrior Dash in April here I come!

A new experience in K.C.

So Friday night hubby and I got the chance to try something new! Rock Wall Climbing!

We just became part of a new group from our church with young marrieds where we have a date night once a month - but we don't know what we are doing until we arrive!

Sound interesting? We call it Mystery Society - and we have mystery dates. We know every month it will be on the first Friday night. We are told what we should wear - casual, athletic wear, etc. We usually meet at 6:45 and no kids! That is it! Such a mystery!

I signed up right away! I need a date night guaranteed every month! Hubby was a little worried. He doesn't like to be surprised and wants to plan things. But he is slowly warming up to the idea.

Last week was our first official mystery date. Last month was just a get together at a restaurant to meet and pick what couple will plan the coming months dates. My friend R. had November. It was so hard not to bug her every time I saw her to get some clues or hints as to what we might be doing. Nothing.

As hubby ans I were planning our outfits he was very frustrating at not knowing how to dress for what we are doing. Was it inside, outside? Was it going to be very active that we will be hot and sweaty or just casual activity? I dressed in layers just in case!

Friday morning arrived and our host R.  sent a message with the address we would be meeting. Of course she said don't google it - but we ALL did! It showed up as a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant. I knew this was just the meeting point but it was something nearby...

The only thing close was her place and the local gym/sportsclub. It had to be the gym but what would we be doing?

It is hard for me to be calm all day when I know something fun will be happening that night! I made it and off we went.

Little honey had a new experience too! We couldn't find a sitter and my parents were busy so we found a local drop off child care that is open til Midnight. He was so excited all week to be going somewhere to play with new kids. I love that he is not afraid to try new things and go to new places where he knows no one. Such a sport!

When we got to the gym the front desk asked if we were there for the rock wall. Yippie!! I had no idea what we were going to do at the gym. Such a surprise!

It was so fun! I can't express it in words! There were about 12 couples and some enjoyed and some didn't. But we all had a great time nun the less. One wall was super hard to get to the top. Hubby was entranced by it and so surprised that no one had conquered it. So he had to try.

Of course he made it! And he was the only person out of 24 adults that made it! And did I mention that he was also the second oldest in our group. So proud of my man!!!

I can't wait til December to find out what we are doing next...

What have you tried lately? Would you be comfortable with a mystery date?

Oil Pullling Experiment

Oil Pulling. Have you heard of it? It is an alternative health practice that has been around for years but just recently more common in America. Weird I know but interesting...

Here are a few links to learn more about it -

Oilpulling
CoconutResearchCenter
Oil Pulling

I was intrigued when I first heard about this. Can swishing oil in your mouth really affect anything in your body? Hmmmm.  So I thought I would experiment myself and see. I didn't have Sesame or Sunflower oil on hand but I do have Coconut Oil (refered to as C.O. below) and since there are soo many benefits of C.O. I thought I would try it. I did the experiment for a full 30 days to see if there were any changes or results of the Oil Pulling.  Here are my daily thoughts of my experiment ~

Day 1 - GROSS! at first. I had read somewhere that first time you almost chew the C.O. until it melts which was a little weird and gross. But in mere seconds it is melted and swishing away. Thought that 15 min. would be hard but not too bad. will try for 20 tommorrow.

Day 2 - still a little gross at first but that quickly goes away. swishing slow for total 20 min! nothing new to notice yet.

Day 3 - Forgot! immediatly jumped out of bed and went running this morning and when I got back I was STARVING and ate breakfast. Went into bathroom later and remembered I forgot to oil pull! Oops!

Day 4 - not gross, just weird...if that makes any sense to you ♥ my teeth feel so smooth like when you leave the dentist after he cleans them! that just polished feel. they do seem a little whiter - or is it just me?? Love the smooth feeling.

Day 5 - not bad...morning is hard to get ready and hubby wants to talk when I am oil pulling! I think he is getting used to us not talking before he leaves for work...and I  think he is liking it!!! still no notice of anything changing.

Day 6 - no problems. no changes, teeth do look a little whiter and are very smooth. Starting period today and No PMS! I guess that is a good change!

Day 7 - starting to get used to C.O. in mouth - nont bad. teeth still smooth and still no PMS!  This is an awesome change in my book. Usually I am downing the PMS medicine or at least Tylenol and nothing needed! WOOHOO ♥

Day 8 - same today. Did go to little honey's dentist today - he had 2 cavities! this is what I want to avoid but can't imagine getting him to swish this around every morning. Although hubby is interested. While at his dentist I asked if he had ever heard of Oil pulling and he looked at me like I was an alien! He had no idea what I was talking about but said he was curious and would look it up. Can't wait til I go to my dentist and see if he has heard of it or not!

Day 9  -  same. Period over and short with no problems!! Yipee! may continue this oil pulling if only for this one change!!! Big zit today on chin :( thought O.P. was suppossed to help with acne??

Day 10 - Forgot! Saturdays are hard. I want to rush out of bed before anyone is up and go running as this is the only day hubby doen't have to leave by 6:30 am and I can take a little time to run instead of rushing my workout. Of course I was starving when I got back and quickly ate! When I was running my throat was killing me! I will admit I forgot my inhaler last night but still...my throat should not hurt just from breathing!

Day 11 - Forgot again! Same thing today went running before church and was starving when I got home. Again my throat was so sore. will have to continue to O.P. if it helps my throat although not sure how it helps as I don't gargle with the oil. But I do usually gargle with salt water after my O.P. so maybe that is why it helps my throat.

Day 12 - Back to it! No sore throat today Yipee! A little more energy today - and of course it is while I am at work not home where I could be productive and clean or sew! Oh well - hope it keeps up every day.

Day 13 - Used Almond oil today. After reading that regular oil (which is yellowish in color) turns white after oil pulling because of the yuck that is pulled out I wanted to try and this is what was available today ( C.O. is already white so not sure what I am looking at). It taste Awful! Even worse than the first day of C.O.! But when I spit out it was white - was is it because of swishing motion or because of the germs and such?? thinking about purchasing Sesame or sunflower oil when I go to store next...
Day 14 - not much energy today. Went back to Cocunut oil, so much better than almond oil. Throat not sore teeth do appear whiter - is it just me? Noone has said anything about my teeth or complection so not sure if it is true.  * Also used C.O. as moisturizer on face last night and this morning under make-up. Face feels smooth and soft today make-up doesn't feel heavy or hard as usual. keep touching my face which I know is bad...but can't help it - it is soooo soft! And lips soft - haven't needed chapstick all day! yipee! (on another topic...I need to make a healthier option other than chapstick...off to do research!)forgot to take vitamins all week and noticed my hair is falling out today UGH! not sure if it is becuase not taking hair/skin/nail vitamin or agrivation from oil pulling. they say symptoms will get worse before getting better...

Day 15 -  not much energy today :( no sore throat when woke up! Usual routine - no change. Remebered vitamins today! Face is still really soft! Not much hair fell out this morning which is a very good thing! no other changes.

Day 16 - Ran my 5 K last night at midnight. I didn't get to bed until after 3am so I slept in today and was drowsy and out of it until about 3 pm. By then I was starving so I forgot :( Of course I had no energy today but I think it was because of the run.

Day 17 - forgot AGAIN! weekends are bad for me. Hubby is still here when we get up and all I want to do is make breakfast for the family and talk! Throat started to be sore around 4pm. wondering if it was because I was out so late for run or because I forgot to O.P.?

Day 18 - Throat is killing me! So sore that I could only O.P for about 10 min. then of course gargle with salt water. A little better btu not much energy today feeling like coming down with flu :(

Day 19 -  20 min today! Thraot feeling much better and although I was so tired when I got up I now have so much energy after I Oil Pulled! So glad as there are so many things I want to get done around the house today.

Day 20 - same today...head is so stuffed can hardly breath. throat feels fine and face is still so soft.

Day 21 - no change...throat fine, head cold still there and don't want to do anything! teeth are still smooth and face is still so soft. love the way it feels.

Day 22 - still doing full 20 min. don't really notice any big changes wonder if I will after full 30 days?

Day 23 - throat is fine, head still stuffy so I haven't worked out all week :( Woke up soo tired but after O.P. I had more energy - like it woke me up better. sounds weird I know but it's true. Love how my face is feeling after I moisturize with the C.O.

Day 24 - no problems while doing 20 min when hubby is still asleep. Hey it's Saturday and I remembered! of course I didn't run today and that is why! Head and throat feeling a little better but coughing up a storm!

Day 25 - throat fine. no big change. Teeth feel amazing and do look a little whiter.

Day 26 - again no big changes. I think because I am focusing more on my teeth they are getting more attention like brushing more and flossing! so of course they feel smooth and clean and look a little whiter. not sure if this would be different if I was oil pulling or not. Just need to spend  more time on my teeth and gums.

Day 27 - getting a little bored of swishing in morning and not being able to talk to hubby before he leaves for work. I'm sure he is happy about it as he is not a morning person and doesn't really like to talk before 10am unless it is extremely necessary ♥

Day 28 - hubby and son are finally getting into the C.O. and using for moisturizer on elbows and knees and little honey is even asking when his bottom is sore (guys don't wipe very well ya know what I mean??) I ahve been using it on my legs and they are soo soft! I even found a homemade recipe on pinterest to use after shaving that sounds so good! still remembered to O.P. again getting a little old but I'm keeping up with it!
Day 29 - almost over. Can't wait to go to my dentist and see if he notices anything. I got 2 compliments today on my pretty teeth! Yippee!!

Day 30 - last day! I am happy and sad. I liked doing an experiment...but I am tired of doing it every day. My teeth are smooth and appear whiter. not sure if it is just me noticing that or not.

Overall - I think it is something I may do once in a while but probably no everyday. I didn't really notice a change in my body or health although some days it did help with my throat and not being sore. So this may be good in winter.

Is this something you would do??

**Update**  so it has been a few months since my experiment. I still use C.O. all the time for cooking and moisturizing. Not much oil pulling going on at my house. Hubby never tried it. He thought it was a little wierd. But he's used to that with me. Tell me what you thought after you tried it!!

My Chevron Rug Tutorial

So I finally did it! I made a chevron rug!

I have been drooling over these on pinterest for a while and was trying to figure out how to incorporate it into my home and how to do it with out spending much $$.

This is what I came up with ~

I even put a little tutorial together to show you how I did it! My first tutorial!
*Next project - paint the edge of my front door! I didn't realize how bad it looks until seeing the pic!

This is what you will need -

  • A Rug - preferably one you already own or buy a cheap one.
  • Ruler/tape measure
  • Construction paper for pattern
  • Green frog tape or Blue painters tape - or both if you are like me!
  • Paint - regular old indoor house paint is what I used.
  • Foam paint brush - the cheap kind.
  • Calculator - unless you can figure out the divisions - I can't!

I already had the rug in my entry way and it even had a few spots on it that could be covered up. Perfect! Did I mention also FREE! It's a berber style rug with very small loops. I just realized I didn't take a before picture. This is all I have.
Yes that is my Easter garden in the background...no it hardly has any grass growing. That is all I have to show since Easter!

1.  Measure your rug. Length and width. Your rug will be different than mine so use your measurements here. Mine measures 38.5 wide and 22.5 high. I divided 38.5 in half to get 19.25 (all the while drawing this on scrap paper to plan my design out). Again divide the half measurement in half again which got me 9.625 or 9 5/8. This is the width of my chevron.

2.  Take the height of rug 22.5 and divide by 8. I picked 8 because it is even number and because if I have 4 sections of chevron I wanted to double that and have four rows painted and four rows not painted. I got 2.8125. Fold your paper pattern in half sideways and measure down 2.8125 or the height of your chevron. Mark this measurement on the fold.

3. Use ruler and make line from top right corner to center fold line measurement. Do the same from top left corner to center fold measurement. This is the top of your chevron or "V". Cut along this line.

4.  Take the triangle that you just cut out and move it down your paper so the straight line meets the indent of your chevron. Mark along the bottom edge. This is now the complete shape of your chevron! Cut it out and cut out three more. This is when hubby walks in and says "Oh is that why they call the gas station chevron because it looks like that" HA!
5.  Tape four chevron pieces together in straight line. This is your pattern. You can lay it out and see what it looks like.
This is when you realize that I didn't do my measurements correctly I measured out 2.1825 instead of 2.8125. It makes a big difference! So you start over and remeasure and cut out your chevron pieces all over again. Remember the important saying "Measure twice cut once" wish I had!!

6.  Now that you have the correct measured chevron pattern pin it down to your rug and start taping off the sections you don't want painted.
Notice the wonderful graphic I have laid out for you. HA!
7.  Pinning the pattern worked out great. Easy to position reposition if needed. Now time to tape away. Start with the good green frog tape and move onto blue in case you run out! Make sure you keep the center point lined up with the center of the rug. I did use my invisible pen from my sewing stash which helped me keep it all centered.
Can you see the stain I need to cover up on the bottom stripe? Finally no more spots!

8.  Paint away. I let the foam brush get good and wet with paint and then just dabbed and dabbed away. Can't really mess up here.

This is after the first coat of paint. You can still see the tan berber underneath. I ended up doing three coats of paint.

9. After it dries remove tape carefully and put in place. Done!

I think it turned out pretty good.

What do you think?? Go and try it! And tell me about it!

Happy Mother's Day

Mother's Day Clip Art
Mother's Day Clip Art

Before I was a Mom,
I never tripped over toys
or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not
my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.

Before I was a Mom,
I had never been puked on.
Pooped on.
Chewed on.
Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind
and my thoughts.
I slept all night.

Before I was a Mom,
I never held down a screaming child
so doctors could do tests.
Or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night
watching a baby sleep.

Before I was a Mom,
I never held a sleeping baby just because
I didn't want to put her/him down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces
when I couldn't stop the hurt.

I never knew that something so small
could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.

Before I was a Mom,
I didn't know the feeling of
having my heart outside my body..
I didn't know how special it could feel
to feed a hungry baby
I didn't know that bond
between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small
could make me feel so important and happy.

Hope you have a wonderul Mother's Day ♥

Clean out that Purse!

Time to clean out that purse...

Join me and author Kathi Lipp on her blog for a chance to win her books and a cute bag that says "My husband is a hottie"!! The only thing you have to do is clean out your purse and post a comment on her blog that you did it and any thing interesting you found!

I found crayons - just in case we go out to eat and need to play tic tac toe! After cleaning mine out I really, really want to get a new bag! I have been thinking about sewing up a fun one for summer...but I usually get bored of the fabric before I finish it. I know silly, but it's the truth. I want a really fun  bright yellow or hot pink bag. Now to go shopping!!!

What did you find in your purse???

Thanks Chick-fil-A... Mother Son Date Night!

Had my first official date with little honey tonight! I have been planning this for weeks and was so excited! Although little honey was worried if Daddy could go or if anyone would be there that we knew. I told him it was just for me and him.

I'm not sure if he really got the "date" idea, since we do so much together anyways...like errands and going out to eat for lunch. But eventually he will understand as I plan to keep up dates with him so he knows how to date/treat a girl. But that is a long time from now...

He kept asking all day...when is our date, when is our date?? I think he was just excited to be going to Chick-fil-A not the date! O-well.

When we got there they had Valet parking - free! that was nice. Tablecloths on the tables for us with flowers. Made it feel like a real restaurant and not fast food. They seated us after we ordered and the workers were so cute in their button down white shirts and ties! Made it feel special.

Little honey was so excited. We talked about what dates were and why people go them. He said "I guess you go on one date with a girl that likes you and then you get married. If the girl likes you. Or you could wait and find a girl you like. I dunno. It's so confusing. Can I go play now."

The best part of the date? He got to play. Yeah, did I mention he's only 6?

We did get some fun photobooth pictures at the end, too.

My big laugh got in the second shot. The photographer said lean over and kiss him - of course as soon as I did he pulled away and I laughed as this is what usually happens when I try to kiss him in public!

Had fun and can't wait til next year! Hopefully Chick-fil-A does it again!
Thanks Chick-fil-A for helping start my training of my son's dating life!

Have you ever read this book -

I haven't read this book but I'm thinking of getting it. I know she is a christian author and this might be a good read with your child.

Have you heard of dating your child? This is the best concept I have heard. Dad's taking their daughter's out to show them how boys should treat them and what to expect. (remember that scene in Courageous where the dad bought his daughter a ring? Great Movie!) Mom's taking their son's out to show them how to act and what to do and not do. Otherwise how will they learn? Or should I say how will they learn the right, acceptable way?

I want my son to know how to take care of a girl, how to treat her right. Yes he is picking things up from watching daddy but he may not pick everything up and know when to do it at the right time on a date. A "date night" is a specific time to show how to take charge and actually plan a date (where to eat and what to do - hubby still has a little trouble with this sometimes :) how to go to the door and pick up the girl. Open the car door for her and open the door to the movie or restaurant. (Little honey already does this and says "Ladies first" Makes a momma so proud!)  When to call it a night and what to do when you take the girl home. All things that yes, are a little premature at his young age of 6 but I am teaching him things that he can use when he is at school and at church around girls.

I will be completely honest when I say he is not dating until he is 16. I waited until I was 16 to go on my first date with a boy and he can wait to. Why rush it and let puberty get in the way and confuse him even more when he is 12 or 14? Why does he even need to have a girlfriend before 16?

Why even worry about it?

Well I don't want girls to be his only focus as he is growing up. Speaking from experience constantly worrying about the opposite sex really doesn't put your priorities in order. I think he needs to focus on God, on our family, on school, on saving money and then worry about a girl. I think teaching him these things now will make it easier in the future to deal with them. Instead of ignoring them and waiting until it is too late to correct. Isn't that what parenting is about? Whether we are talking about cleaning their room, their eating habits or getting a booboo.

We as parents need to plan these things out and be prepared BEFORE something happens.

Did I mention he is only 6? Well last month he got two, yes I said TWO notes from girls at school. They are in kindergarten! And they were notes that either the parent helped or an older sibling. Why are they pushing their little girls to have a "boyfriend"? Don't they know what that leads to? They will always be worried about having a boyfriend and if they don't then something is wrong with them. I do not want my son to go down that path. Seriously mom's of girls - get your priorities in order too! Don't let them get their heart broken too early or let them get in a situation that you don't want them to be in! Don't push boys on them! Teach them to protect their hearts and keep it for the right man - when they are older!!! Dads need to step up and tell this to their daughters instead of assuming that someone else will teach them!

Let's start dating our kids and teaching them now! I'm not talking every week but maybe once a month or every other month until they are a little older. This is especially good if you have more than one child. Every child needs some one on one time with each parent. Put it on the calendar and don't forget it.

Will you start to date your child??

I Ran and I am Still Running...

I cannot believe it actually happened! I am not a runner and especially since my doc diagnosed me with asthma last year have I barely been exercising. But I did lose 30 lbs in 2011! WooHoo!

I have been training for the past 4 weeks. Boy it was hard and still is because I have been barely able to run the full 5K (which is actually 3.2 miles). I get winded after about 10 min and have to walk a bit, then run another 1 min and then walk a bit. this goes on the whole workout. Of course this is how you train but I thought by now I would be able to continue to run the full time or at least 30 min!

Well tonight was the Midnight Torch Run to benefit the Special Olympics in Kansas. My very first race! How exciting!

So many things to do before the race to get prepared.

I needed new shoes and had to purchase them in advance so I would be used to them. That was an experience in itself! I finally decided on Reebok RunTones.

They are super cushioned and I do feel them working/stretching my legs when I have them on. They are good, the  only weird thing is they make a little noise from the sole when I run so it sounds like someone is running up behind me! A little creepy especially since I usually run at night! Even my dog noticed and kept looking over his shoulder when we were out ♥

Had the hardest time finding a Neon Pink tank top for the race. Since so many of my friends are also doing the race we thought it only appropriate if we match somehow. I have to run in a tank as I get so hot so finding one was a little hard. I did find a Nike one but it was a loose fit and $20. wanted to just find a regular ribbed one. I finally did at a "little girls" store. Hey I was a little girl at one time and if it still fits???

Washed the outfit I am wearing. Tried it on and ready to go!

The night before the race I went and picked up my race packet. FUN! Got my number 165...now I am an official runner!

Some friends that were running with me met up before and got a few pics ~

We were so excited!! It had been raining around 8pm that night and a little breezy so we had long sleeves and jackets. So glad it stopped raining. It was actually perfect weather to run - light breeze and about 65 degrees. Perfect Midnight Run!

This was actually before the race...getting excited...

I actually jogged the whole race! Everyone in my group took off at the starting line and left me in their dust...but they are 3 to 5 years YOUNGER than me!  But I was running/jogging! So proud of myself. I was passed by almost everyone - there were walkers behind me and I actually passed 3 people! WooHoo! Not too bad for a beginner runner who has only trained for 4 weeks! I haven't gotten my time yet but I know I was at least 40 min. if not more. I wanted to make it under 40 but hey - at least I ran the whole time!

We made it - all hot and sweaty after the race!!

So excited for our next one! Not sure what I will run next but I do have planned a Mud Run in October. I am actually going to run a 5K with obstacles and think I can make it! HA! But this time I have 6 months to train and hope to get at least one more 5k under my belt with better speed!
